Stripes are unnatural lines which create solid boundaries and tangible separation. A historical depiction of simplicity within atrocity during the Holocaust. Every day we are linked with unmatched connections to global tragedy as well as triumphs.
Our family history, our traditions, and spirituality have a great effect on how we design our quilt projects. We use these projects to show a unique point of view, react to a current situation and express emotion in an artistic way. More important than balance, color and stitch quality is the underlying message the quilter tries to convey to the viewer.
